Avec AP - Selon le quotidien Los Angeles Times, Michael Jackson, 50 ans, est décédé.
Il a été transporté au Centre médical UCLA pour un arrêt cardiaque. M. Jackson ne respirait pas lorsque les ambulanciers sont arrivés vers minuit et demi.
Le mois dernier, des représentants du roi de la musique pop avaient annoncé que Michael Jackson allait reporter plusieurs des concerts de son retour londonien prévu cet été, alimentant les spéculations sur des problèmes de santé du chanteur de «Thriller».

Après être tombé dans le coma en milieu d'après-midi, Michael Jackson est décédé dans un hôpital de Los Angeles, apprend-on du quotidien le Los Angeles Times.
Il a été victime d'un arrêt cardiaque cet après-midi et ne s'en est pas sorti.
Il a d'abord été transporté en ambulance vers un hôpital de Los Angeles. On rapporte qu'il ne respirait pas à son arrivée à l'urgence de l'endroit.
Des techniques de réanimation et les premiers soins ont été apportés au chanteur à bord du véhicule. Malheureusement, il n'a jamais été capable de retrouver sa respiration.
Les secours s'étaient d'abord rendus au domicile de la star après que quelqu'un ait appelé au 911 en début d'après-midi (jeudi) à partir de la résidence de Holmby Hill de Los Angeles.
On ne connaît pas pour l'instant l'identité de la personne qui a logé l'appel.
Sa mère, tout comme les membres de sa famille, ont été appelés afin de lui rendre visite, mais n'ont pu que constater son décès.
